Natalie & Jamie
Natalie and Jamie’s vision surprised and delighted us with its vintage feel.
It comes as no surprise that Parque was such a perfect fit. Outside – a crisp autumn holiday weekend Sunday with sun breaking through the clouds just in time for photos and an outdoor ceremony. Which had to be, given how outdoorsy Natalie and Jamie are. (To think that the groom broke his collarbone in an off-trail mountain bike fall just weeks prior to the wedding!)
Inside- old-world elegance. Long tables and an off-center dance floor. Phenomenal Love n’ Fresh Flowers centerpieces, home-grown and sumptuous. Tiny pine cone place cards. Black candles and black linens – such an unusual choice. So interesting to see how the focus in these photos is on the guests, and the florals, faces lit by candlelight, all the guests, and the guests of honor- Jamie and Natalie– embraced in the warmth of the surroundings, the music, the festivities.
We felt as though we were witnesses to a wedding that might have taken place in the 1920’s, just a few years after the mansion was built. And we are lucky enough to have the best witness of all- Pat Furey- whose breathtaking photos captured the day and all its emotion, beauty, joy and romance.
